Kedar Jadhav hires bodyguard after newfound success with Team India
Kedar Jadhav revealed that turning non-vegetarian 2 years ago helped him attain the fitness level that he needed to play for Team India.
Pune: With the rise in Kedar Jadhav’s popularity, the Team India batsman has had to hire a couple of personal assistants to ensure his security.
Jadhav impressed the whole country after putting in a Man of the Series winning performance in the three-match ODI series against England, earlier this month, averaging 77.33.
The Pune-lad had even eclipsed India captain Virat Kohli in the first ODI in his home town, scoring 120 runs to help India chase down a massive total of 350 posted by England.

However, his stupendous performances for Team India have elevated him to the star status in his home town, which is why he has had to hire an assistant and a bouncer to protect him, according to reports.
The reports also suggest that Jadhav has to consult his body-guard, even before going to a restaurant.
Has changing to a non-vegetarian diet helped Jadhav perform better for Team India?
Incidentally, Kedar Jadhav has been a bit of a late bloomer in his cricketing career, becoming a regular in the Team India squad when he was in his 30s. Now at the age of 31, Jadhav seems to be playing some of the best cricket of his career so far.
The Maharashtra batsman revealed that although he was a pure-vegetarian from birth, he switched to non-veg diet, in order to raise his fitness level.

“My parents had promised God that if they get a son, they’d turn vegetarian. So, I’ve always been a pure vegetarian. But I realised, despite working hard, I was struggling to maintain my fitness level,” Jadhav was quoted as saying in Mid-Day,
“So I told my father that for my cricket, I needed to start eating meat. He agreed, and I’ve added chicken, fish, lamb to my diet since,” he further said.
