Hitman' Rohit Sharma reveals his comeback date
Rohit Sharma revealed that he will make a comeback in the Vijay Hazare Trophy match between Mumbai and Andhra Pradesh on March 4.
Mumbai: Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma, who has been out of India squad since last October, has announced the date for his return to competitive cricket. The star batsman took to Twitter to reveal that he will make a comeback in the Vijay Hazare Trophy match between Mumbai and Andhra Pradesh on March 4.
Rohit suffered an injury on the right thigh during the fifth and final ODI against New Zealand at Visakhapatnam on October 29. The 29-year-old was earlier ruled out for 6 to 8 weeks owing to the injury. However, a successful thigh injury in London has kept Rohit out of action for three months.
The Mumbai cricketer is considered as one of the most explosive batsmen in limited overs cricket. Also with the ICC Champions Trophy scheduled to be played in June this year, Indian cricket fans will be hoping to see Rohit back in the Indian team.
On March 6, Mumbai will face Goa in Vijay Hazare Trophy.
