G Vivekanand and his team sweep all HCA posts

Hyderabad: G. Vivekanand and his team swept all posts in the Hyderabad Cricket Association, elections to which were held on January 17 and results declared on Friday. Vivekanand defeated Vidyuth Jaisimha for the president’s post 136-69; Anil Kumar trounced Imran Mahmood 138-66 to become vice-president; Ajmal Asad defeated Vanka Prathap 124-80 to be joint secretary; P. Mahender drubbed P. Anuradha 150-55 for the treasurer’s chair and K. Hanumanth Reddy won the Councillor’s post by polling 100 votes in a six-man contest. T. Shesh Narayan was elected secretary unanimously earlier.
