Mumbai: Indian all-rounder and current Baroda cricketer Irfan Pathan on Sunday took to Twitter to send a strong message to his boss following his sacking as captain of the Baroda Ranji team a couple of days back.

In the tweet he posted, it reads as ‘Not wishing Good Morning & not being a YES man to ur boss can go against u...but don’t bother, keep doing ur work .

This tweet was responded by many of his fans wishing him the best and encouraging him not to give up.

After failing to register a win in the two Ranji Trophy as Baroda captain so far, Pathan was sacked as the captain of the bottom-placed team, passing the baton to Deepak Hooda.

Recently, Irfan was in best of his form after he scored 80 runs in their Ranji opener against Madhya Pradesh, whereas his brother Yusuf scored a century in both the innings, but went on to lose the game.

This was followed by a draw against Andhra Pradesh in their second group game last week. This meant that they finished at the bottom of the table with just one point.

Baroda are currently playing Tripura in their third Ranji match, and will be hoping for their first win.
