Mumbai: Star India cricketer Yuvraj Singh, who is the most expensive Indian Premier League (IPL) player ever - Delhi Daredevils bought him for Rs. 16 crore in 2015 – believes England all-rounder Ben Stokes will fetch millions when he enters the IPL auction.

"A couple of million,” said Yuvraj to BBC Sport on how much Stokes was worth. “He's a quality hitter, fast bowler and fielder. He'll definitely get the big bucks. He brings a lot to the table."

Stokes was involved in an altercation with India skipper Virat Kohli during the Test series, and Yuvraj feels that it’s important to have passion in cricket.

"I always see Ben and Virat (Kohli) having a go at each other. It's great for cricket to have passion.

"We always have banter with the English. My old battles were with Andrew Flintoff."

Many English players including Ben Stokes, Chris Woakes, Jason Roy and Alex Hales are expected to play in IPL this year as England are not playing a Test match in May.

"If these guys come and play the IPL, their skills will improve. The more they play in different conditions, the better they will become," added Yuvraj.
