Hyderabad: Five centurions and three bowlers dominated Wednesday’s action in the Hyderabad Cricket Association’s top division league here.

Kumar Aditya, Bhavesh Seth, Amol Shinde, G. Shyam Sundar and Akash Bhandari, and were the batsmen who impressed while Mohammed Fahad, Shubham Bist and Syed Ahmed Quadri took the bowling honours on the second day of three-day matches.

Aditya slammed an unbeaten 113 to boost Evergreen to 344 for 8, a massive lead against Gemini Friends, who were bowled out for just 135 in their first innings. Aditya’s 226-ball knock contained 17 boundaries and a six.

The match between State Bank of India and Sporting threw up three performers. Akash Bhandari hit 101 with the help of 17 fours and two sixes to take SBI’s total to 355 while Bhavesh Seth slammed 104 in 138 balls, 16 of which were dispatched to the boundary as Sporting replied with 335 even as off-spinner Ahmed Quadri took 5/73.

Mohammed Fahad had the best bowling figures of the day, his 6 for 34 cracked up India Cements who were all out for 148 while chasing Cambridge’s first innings total of 394 for 9.

Amol Shinde was the other performer. He was batting on 102 as Andhra Bank replied to Dayanand CC’s 246 with 293 for 8. Amol’s 173-ball innings contained 13 boundaries.

Railways had a centurion as well. Shyam Sundar’s 101 that included a total of six fours and four sixes took them past EMCC’s paltry 137.
