New Delhi: Sri Lanka pacer Suranga Lakmal produced ‘No Shoe’ catch to dismiss India opener Shikhar Dhawan in the third and final Test match currently underway at Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi on Saturday. The Indian opener scored 23 off 35 deliveries before being dismissed by Dilruwan Perera.

Dhawan, who gifted his wicket to Dilruwan Perera also became the Sri Lankan’s 100th victim in Test matches. The incident happened in the 10th over of the Indian innings; Perera pitched the ball around the leg, which turned a bit. Dhawan who went for the sweep shot top-edged the ball towards deep square leg where Lakmal was fielding. The Sri Lanka pacer lost his balance as well as his shoe while attempting the catch but finally managed to hold on in hazy condition.
