Himalay Agarwal scores sixth fifty as Hyderabad draw game

Hyderabad: Himalay Agarwal scored his second successive half-century to guide Hyderabad to a respectable draw against Andhra in their Ranji Trophy Elite Group ‘B’ match that ended in Vizianagaram on Wednesday.

Batting at No.5, Himalay followed his 59 in the first innings with a splendid 60 not out (93 balls, 6x4, 3x6), in the second essay to shore up Hyderabad after captain P. Akshath Reddy made 65 in 98 balls with the help of 10 boundaries and a six.

No.4 B. Sandeep made 45 while debutant N. Thakur Tilak Varma contributed 34 in the second innings after making 5 in the first essay.
