Colombo: Virat Kohli and co on Wednesday presented sports journalist R Kaushik with an Indian cricket team jersey for his outstanding excellence in sports journalism. Kaushik, who is the managing editor of Wisden India, is currently in Colombo covering his 100th Test match between Sri Lanka and India.

Speaking during a press conference on the eve of the second Test match between the two Asian giants, Virat Kohli congratulated Kaushik during the event.
“It is a great achievement and I think you are one of those who truly understand the game, not looking for any masala, and I am really happy to present this Indian jersey to you and I hope you continue with your good work,” said Kohli.
The Men in Blue cruised to a 304-run win over hosts Sri Lanka in the first Test courtesy fine knocks from Shikhar Dhawan (190) and Cheteshwar Pujara (153) in the first innings. India have won the toss in the second Test and are batting first as they look to seal the three-match Test series. KL Rahul is back in the playing XI after recovering from fever, while Abhinav Mukund has been dropped.
