New Delhi: The Supreme Court told BCCI that the board has no choice but accept Chief Justice RM Lodha’s report and there will be no second chance.
The report was written with an aim to clean Indian cricket.
The board has been set a deadline of March 3 to review and understand the report.
To eliminate conflict of interest, ICC has decided that its chairman will not hold any post in any member board.
According to reports, SC specifically said: “There is no second innings.”
The panel was formed after the IPL spot-fixing scandal that rocked Indian cricket in 2013.
Earlier, the working group stated that ministers and government officials cannot hold office in the BCCI.
