Hyderabad: P. S. Chaitanya Reddy scored a century as Andhra Bank emerged champions of the Hyderabad Cricket Association’s ‘A’ Division One-day Knockout Championship. In the final played at the Gymkhana gounds here on Sunday, they defeated State Bank of India by 152 runs.

Batting first, Andhra Bank put up 310 for 9 in 45 overs thanks to Chaitanya’s 107 off 93 balls that included four boundaries and five sixes. Neeraj Bist (66) and T. Ravi Teja (37) too made good contributions even as Akash Bhandari (3/61) and T. Suman (3/59) were among the wickets.

In reply, SBI folded for a paltry 158 in 33.3 overs — Ahmed Quadri being their top-scorer with 34 — as T Ravi Teja (2/27), Amol Shinde (2/36) and Neeraj Bist (2/5) shared the spoils.
