London: India and Australia will compete for the ICC World Test Championship trophy, starting Wednesday (June 7).

Australia topped the WTC league table (2021-23 cycle) with 66.67 points per cent (PCT). India was the runner-up with 58.8 PCT. This is the second edition of the ICC’s showpiece event. In the inaugural edition’s final, India had also made it to the final but that time the Virat Kohli-led side had lost against New Zealand. Indian fans will be hoping to one-better that result this time under skipper Rohit Sharma.

The final will be played from June 7 to 11.

The match will be played at the Oval Cricket Ground in London.

Is there a reserve day for the final?

Yes. If the match is affected due to rain or any other non-cricketing factor, then the match will continue on June 12, the reserved day.
