In reply, Kerala’s batting unit did put up a good show in comparison to their first innings but finished at 190 for 6 in 72 overs when the stumps were drawn for the final day’s play. Albin Binu (62), Rohan Nair (52 n.o) did well for Kerala while home side’s D. Sai Sragvi and K. Sai Purnanand Rao shared four wicket equally as Hyderabad fetched three points by the virtue of first innings lead while Kerala settled for one.
At NFC Grounds, a defiant knock from Lakshya Jain (97) helped Tamil Nadu salvage draw against Andhra Pradesh. At the end of last day’s play Tamil Nadu finished at 388 for 9 as both Andhra and Tamil Nadu shared two points equally. Meanwhile, the match between Goa and Karnataka at the ECIL Grounds too ended in a draw as Karnataka pocketed three points while Goa returned with one.
