Here's what Shahid Afridi tweeted on Rahul Dravid post India's Under 19 World Cup win

Prithvi Shaw-led India U-19 cricket team defeated Australia in the final of the ICC U-19 World Cup.

Mumbai: It was a memorable evening on Saturday for Rahul Dravid and his boys as Prithvi Shaw-led India U-19 cricket team defeated Australia by eight wickets to clinch a record fourth World Cup title.

After having won the toss, Australia decided to bat first. However, nothing worked according to plan as the Boys in Blue bundled them out for 216. In reply, it was Manjot Kalra’s heroics of 101 which took India home.

Following the win, the cricket fraternity was all praise for the young boys. Most of the cricketers took to social media to express their happiness over the win.

One of them to congratulate Rahul Dravid and co was Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi, who took to Twitter to wish the same.

In his tweet, he said , “Congratulations India, exceptional U19 team, great coach and mentor in Rahul Dravid. Future stars in the making.”

Rahul Dravid had in 2016 coached the Indian colts to the U-19 World Cup final against West Indies in Bangladesh, where they lost by five wickets.
