Ashwin will run through Australia: KL Rahul

Bengaluru: When KL Rahul’s in the mood, he makes batting look wonderful but twice in two Tests, while the India opener has been amongst the runs, the team is far from being in a happy place.
On Saturday at Bengaluru, home lad Rahul and to an extent Karun Nair were the only ones to show some gumption against Nathan Lyon’s big turners. That it happened on the first day was hugely surprising.
Yet, Rahul believed that India’s premier spinner R. Ashwin could turn it India’s way. “That’s the only way we are looking at this match. It’s just one day up, there is four more days to go.
Like I said, the cracks are opening up and its only getting harder to bat on this wicket,” said Rahul. “Ashwin is a top class bowler and once he gets a couple of wickets and gets into that rhythm then he is going to run through the Australian batting line-up, which we are very confident of. ” said Indian opener K. L. Rahul.
