‘Bumrah showed no mercy’: Sehwag
Sehwag pointed out that Bumrah, unlike the IPL match, showed ‘no mercy’ against opponent de Kock today.
Mumbai: After two quick dismissals at the beginning of the first innings of India’s first match of the tournament against South Africa, Jasprit Bumrah was on fire. The two quick wickets left many Indians and South Africans alike, in shock.
Former prominent India player, Virendra Sehwag took to Twitter to bring attention to a moment from not long ago during the final clash between IPL teams Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians.
While Bumrah and South African de Kock played together for the Mumbai side, keeper de Kock let four bye-runs go in the match’s penultimate over.
Instead of losing his patience and temper over the South African, Jasprit Bumrah went over to the keeper and comforted him, in a gesture that was loved by fans from everywhere.
