IND 33/1; Dhawan 20, Kohli 12

5th over: Abu Hider, another left-arm seamer into the attack. Dhawan has moved to 15 and is looking a bit impatient. Good over for India, Kohli takes on the youngster, the uppish drive clears the fielder at mid-off.

Bangladesh innings

BAN 120/5; Sabbir 32, Mahmudullah 33

BAN 113/5; Sabbir 30, Mahmudullah 28

12th over: Mushfiqur rushes for the second run and fails to make ground. His bat was in the air and Dhoni makes no mistake. It is Kohli’s magic work from deep midwicket. Mashrafe Mortaza goes for the aerial route and finds Kohli. Two back-to-back wickets.

BAN 71/3; Sabbir 18, Mushfiqur 3

11th over: Sabbir is getting impatient here, not able to read Pandya. Bangladesh will look to score around 120 to be in a comfortable position. Mushfiqur is the man who needs to step up.

BAN 68/3; Sabbir 16, Mushfiqur 2

10th over: And that's the end of Shakib's cameo. The batsman moved outside leg and got down to slog sweep, caught by Bumrah at short fine leg. He goes for 21 off 16 balls.

BAN 64/2; Sabbir 14, Shakib 21

9th over: Six off Jadeja's over which also had a loud shout in the first ball. But there was an inside edge and hence, the umpire didn't react to the bowler.

BAN 58/2; Sabbir 12, Shakib 17

8th over: Pandya with the ball isn't able to control Shakib. On such a big day, the talented all-rounder is making his bat talk. He is a big match player. Good contest between him and the Baroda youngster. Shakib reading the field well and punishing the bowler.

BAN 47/2; Sabbir 10, Shakib 8

7th over: Sabbir is experimenting with his shots here, good batting by Bangladesh. He snatches 12 runs off Jadeja's first over.

BAN 35/2; Sabbir 4, Shakib 2

6th over: Ashwin back into the attack, five off the over. Someone needs to get a big one for Bangladesh here. Shakib Al Hasan has not been impressive of late, he is struggling with the bat.

BAN 30/2; Sabbir 2, Shakib 0

5th over: Bumrah traps Tamim Iqbal, big wicket for India. He goes for 13. What a spell from Bumrah.

BAN 27/1; Tamim 12, Sabbir 0

4th over: After being hammered, Nehra comes back with the wicket of Soumya Sakar who looked dangerous. Pandya caught the southpaw at mid-off. He scored 14 off 9 balls.

BAN 14/0; Tamim 7, Sarkar 6

3rd over: Bumrah starts off sensationally, getting some movement he keeps the Bangla openers quiet. Ouch! there is a mix-up, brilliant fielding by the Indians but they miss out on a direct-hit.

BAN 11/0; Tamim 6, Sarkar 4

2nd over: Tamim starts off with a boundary off Nehra. Bangladesh looking in good touch here but the veteran India pacer is generating ferocious swing. Six off the second over.

BAN 5/0; Tamim 1, Sarkar 4

1st over: Ashwin opens the bowling for India, interesting ploy by Dhoni in the 90-ball game. Three dot balls, a single and Soumya Sarkar drives for a boundary off the last.

India has won the toss and MS Dhoni has elected to bowl.

Match reduced to 15 overs, to start at 21:00 IST.

The next inspection is at 20:00 IST. Rains have stopped, there is only a bit of drizzle at the moment.

If the match goes beyond 20.30 pm local time, there will be loss of overs.

Mirpur apparently has a very good drainage system. Fingers crossed.

Cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle told Ayaz Memon - a cricket expert - that a lake has taken shape inside the stadium. There is no gurantee of the start time.

The stadium lights have been switched off as a safety precaution.

There is no reserve day and if the rain continues, both teams will share the trophy.

Is it just a passing shower? This is not mild drizzle, it looks rough.

Oh boy! A thunderstorm breaks out in Dhaka. What a pity.

The toss will play an important part in the lead up to the summit clash. Bangladesh chased down well the other night against Bangladesh while the star-studded Indian batting line-up is capable of posting a mammoth total on board.
