IPL 2017 points table: SRH victory sends Delhi Daredevils packing
Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Daredevils, and Gujarat Lions are mathematically out of the playoffs.

Hyderabad: Sunrisers Hyderabad notched-up an important 7-wicket victory over table toppers Mumbai Indians at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad on Monday, to further strengthen their position in the top four spots on the IPL table.
However, this result means that Delhi Daredevils cannot mathematically catch-up with SRH, who are on fourth at the moment.

Hyderabad: Rising Pune Supergiant held their nerve as they beat Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium here on Saturday and jumped to second spot in points table.
Jaydev Unadkat scalped a last-over hat-trick (5/30) while Ben Stokes justified his Rs.14.5 crore price tag as he starred with bat (39) and ball (3/30) to seal Steve Smith-led side’s 12–run win.

New Delhi: Delhi Daredevils climbed out of the bottom spot in the IPL points table, after their thrilling 6-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad, at the Feroze Shah Kotla Stadium, on Tuesday.
SRH, on the other hand, Stayed put at the third spot on the table for now, but could be overtaken by Rising Pune Supergiant, if the latter can notch-up a win against high-flying Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, DD's win sends out-of-form Royal Challengers Bangalore to the rock bottom of the table.
April 29, 2017:
Pune: Yet another loss for RCB. Although they are not at the bottom of the table, they have played as many as three matches more than Delhi Daredevils, which makes their situation look quite gloomy.
These are good days for RPS however, as they have notched-up their fourth win in their last five matches.

Bengaluru: Royal Challengers Bangalore look like they are in deep trouble, after they had to share a point apiece with Sunrisers Hyderabad, as the match between them at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, in Bengaluru, on Tuesday.
While this point hauls RCB out of the bottom spot, they are staring down the barrel of elimination, as they could muster only five points on the board from eight games. They need to win all of their remaining six matches, in order to give themselves a chance of making it to the qualifiers.

Pune: MS Dhoni came to party as Rising Pune Supergiant jumped to fourth spot in points table after a six-wicket win against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium here on Saturday. The Steve Smith-led side sealed the last-ball win against the defending champions to complete their second win in a row.
April 20, 2017:
Indore: Mumbai Indians jumped to top spot in IPL points table after a thumping win against Glenn Maxwell-led Kings XI Punjab side here on Thursday. MI, needed 199 runs to win, had no trouble whatsoever as openers Parthiv Patel and Jos Buttler demolished the KXIP bowling attack before Nitish Rana slamming yet another fifty in IPL 10 to complete MI's 8-wicket win.

Hyderabad: Sunrisers Hyderabad's 15-run win over the Delhi Daredevils propelled them to the second spot on the IPL 2017 table, as they notched-up their fourth victory of the tournament.
Delhi Daredevils' Sanju Samson (50 off 31 balls) and Sunrisers Hyderabad's Shikhar Dhawan (70 off 50 balls) jumped to the 4th and the 5th spots, respectively, on the top-scorer's charts.
Chris Morris's 4-wicket haul against Sunrisers Hyderabad propelled him to the second spot on the top wicket-taker's charts, three behind numero uno Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
April 18, 2017:
Rajkot: Royal Challengers Bangalore's 21-run victory over Gujarat Lions propelled Virat Kohli and co up the IPL table to the 6th spot, but the result also meant that Gujarat Lions slumped to the rock bottom of the Indian Premier League table.
Brendon McCullum’s brilliant 72 off 44 balls may have gone in vain against Royal Challengers Bangalore, but his efforts propelled him to the second spot on the highest scorer’s list.
Not much movement in the highest wicket-taker's charts today. However, youngster Youzvendra Chahal climbed to the 6th spot with this 3-wicket haul against Gujarat Lions.
April 17, 2017:
Delhi/ Hyderabad: Both KKR and SRH moved up a spot on the IPL table. While KKR are on the top of the table with eight points, SRH have managed to climb to the 3rd spot with six points.
Both the highest scorer's and the highest wicket-taker's spots have been taken by SRH tonight.
David Warner played yet another brilliant innings to guide his side to a respectable total of 159 for 6, while all the batsmen kept falling around him. His unbeaten 70 off 54 balls takes him to the top of the highest run-getter's charts.
Meanwhile, Warner's strike bowler Bhuvneshwar just swung away from the rest of the pack chasing him for the highest wicket-taker's crown, as he picked up his first 5-wicket haul in IPL. Bhuvi produced a brilliant performance, to dismiss the dangerous batsmen at the top, and a couple of lower order batters as well, in the end.

Mumbai: While Rising Pune Supergiant beat Royal Challengers Bangalore to make a move in the points table, Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians have jumped to top spot after beating Suresh Raina's Gujarat Lions at the Wankhede Stadium.
April 15, 2017:
Kolkata: KKR have jumped to the top of the table, after securing a 17-run victory over SRH, at the Eden Gardens, in Kolkata, on Saturday.
Its the two captains from this match, Gautam Gambhir and david warner, who have taken the top two spots on the highest run scorer's list.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar continued to impress, and his three wickets on the night takes him to the top of the wicket-takers' charts.

Rajkot: Gujarat Lions opened their account as they defeated Rising Pune Supergiant here on Friday. Requiring 172 runs to win, the Suresh Raina-led side clinched a seven-wicket win as RPSG was pushed to the bottom of the points table.

Bengaluru: Mumbai Indians moved past Kolkata Knight Riders to claim the top spot in the IPL 10 points table after a four-wicket win against Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore here on Friday. While MI bowlers restricted RCB to 142, the Rohit Sharma-led side sealed a victory despite Samuel Badree's hat-trick courtesy Kieorn Pollard's 47-ball 70-run innings.

Kolkata: Kolkata Knight Riders jumped to the top of the table as they comprehensively defeated Kings XI Punjab at the Eden Gardens on Thursday. Requiring 172 runs to win, the Gautam Gambhir-led side sealed the win with 8 wickets in hand. The loss at the Eden Gardens dislodged KXIP from numero uno spot.
April 12, 2017:
Mumbai: Mumbai Indians completed an all-round performance over Sunrisers Hyderabad, to climb to the third position on the 2017 IPL points table.
However, this loss does not bode well for SRH, as they are replaced by Kings XI Punjab at the top of the table.
David Warner (who scored 49), and Nitish Rana (who scored 45), grabbed the top two spots on the highest run-scorer's chart.
Meanwhile, SRH bowlers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rashid Khan grabbed the top two spots in the top wicket-taker's charts, with 7 and 6 scalps, respectively.

Pune: Delhi Daredevils have jumped to the third spot on the 2017 IPL table, after notching-up a massive 97-run victory over Rising Pune Supergiant. Meanwhile, sunrisers Hyderabad still lead the table, as Mumbai Indians slip out of the play-off positions.
Chris Lynn still leads the scorer's charts, but Sanju Samson's amazing century has propelled Sanju Samson to the third spot on the highest run-scorer's table, just five behind Steve Smith (2nd).
Imran Tahir took just one wicket on the night, but that was enough to keep him on the top of the highest wicket taker's table. However, Zaheer Khan, with his three wickets have climbed all the way up to third, displacing Bhuvneshwar Kumar in the process.

While RCB were without the services of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, Kedar Jadhav was the standout performer for the Shane Watson-led unit, who secured their first win of IPL 10.

Indore: Kings XI Punjab have gotten off the mark in this season's IPL, notching up a comfortable 6-wicket win over Rising Pune Supergiants, on Saturday. This win takes KXIP to the third spot on the table, while Kolkata Knight Riders continue leading it, after last night's big win over Gujarat Lions.
Despite this loss, RPS continue to dominate the individual records table, with Steve Smith scoring the most (110) runs, and Imran Tahir taking the most number of wickets (5), in the tournament so far.

Pune: Rising Pune Supergiants' thrilling victory over Mumbai Indians at the Maharashtra Cricket Stadium, in Pune has taken them to the second spot on the Indian Premier League table, right behind defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad.
RPS skipper Steve Smith has stolen a march over the rest of the pack in the race for the Orange Cap (most number of runs scored), with his unbeaten 84 on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Imran Tahir has zoomed into the top spot for the Purple Cap (most wickets taken), with three scalps on the night.

Hyderabad: Sunrisers Hyderabad stole a march in the 2017 IPL standings, as they defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 35 runs at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, in Hyderabad, on Wednesday.
Yuvraj Singh is currently the highest run-getter in the league, having scored 62 in the first match, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ashish Nehra, and Afghan debutant Rashid Khan top the bowler's charts, with two wickets each.
While some of the biggest stars - Virat Kohli, Umesh Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja - won't feature in the initial phase of the tenth edition of the Indian Premier League and the likes of R Ashwin, KL Rahul, JP Duminy and Quinton de Kock won't be a part of IPL 10, the tournament, as it has done in the past, is all set to entertain the cricket fans across the globe.
The 47-day event, which will have 60 matches across 10 different venues, will get over on May 21 with the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal hosting the final.
