Cardiff: Injuries to Team India bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Washington Sundar presented an opportunity for Krunal Pandya and Deepak Chahar to be selected in the T20 squad for the three-match series against England.
The duo was originally part of the India A team but were the favourite picks when it came to the replacements, given their success in the 2018 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
In an epic video going viral on social media, the two cricketers were spotted delivering a “newcomer” speech inside the Indian dressing room. Head coach Ravi Shastri can also be spotted listening to the players who are standing on a chair and speaking about their respective cricketing journeys.

The Men in Blue have already picked up a 1-0 lead in the T20I series against the hosts. Virat Kohli and co won the opener in fine fashion by 8 wickets thanks to chinaman Kuldeep Yadav and KL Rahul’s sizzling ton.
