Colombo: Team India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja had a bittersweet time at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo during the second Sri Lanka-India Test, in which his side notched up an innings victory over their hosts.
The left-arm spinner churned out a brilliant performance, scoring an unbeaten 70 in the first innings, while also picking up seven wickets during the course of the match, an effort that earned him the Man of the Match title.
However, Jaddu also showed the demonic side of his game, when he hurled the ball at Sri Lankan batsman Dimuth Karunaratne while fielding off his own bowling, an action that was deemed dangerous by the ICC Elite Panel of Umpires.
