Mumbai; Team India's both players- Yuzvendra Chahal and Krishnappa Gowtham- are now both tested Covid-19 negative and have returned to India on Friday night, it is learnt.
The 31-year-googly bowler Chahal and 32-year-old spinner Gowtham had stayed back in Sri Lanka after they were tested positive and had to miss a few matches last month.
"Chahal and Gowtham returned home last night", one of the sources, speaking exclusively over the telephone, said.
"Along with Chahal and Gowtham, the team physio Niranjan Pandit has also returned. Pandit was not positive in Sri Lanka but as a medical person, the BCCI had asked him to be with the Corona affected players", the source further added.
Chahal and Gowtham, along with few others had come in close contact with Krunal Pandya.
Krunal Pandya was the first to return home this month.
Now no Indian players are left in Sri Lanka.
