Mumbai: Swashbuckling West Indian batsman Chris Gayle is never out of the limelight, even when he is in the hospital.

Gayle, who had skipped Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL) due to an injury, posted a photo of himself sitting in a hospital ward, on social media.

India’s former fiery opening batsman Virender Sehwag was quick to reply to Gayle, wishing him a speedy recovery, and enquiring as to what happened to the West Indian player.

While Gayle did not exactly reveal why he was in the hospital, it was good to see two great batsmen, who had terrorised even the best of bowlers back in their day, have such respect for each other.
