Hyderabad: The Board of Control for Cricket in India’s Committee of Administrators has appointed Prof. Ratnakar Shetty, General Manager — Administration and Game Development, to be the observer to supervise and monitor arrangements being made by the Hyderabad Cricket Association for the India-Bangladesh Test to be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium from Thursday.

The BCCI has also appointed its Chief Financial Officer Santosh Rangnekar as the Financial Advisor to ensure proper maintenance of records in relation to income and expenditure for the said Test match, according to a press statement released on Tuesday.

This was in compliance with the order of the Hyderabad High Court following a public interest litigation filed alleging financial irregularities in the HCA.
