Ranchi: India’s legbreak bowler Yuzvendra Chahal was over the moon on Saturday when he dismissed Australia all-rounder Glenn Maxwell for the fourth time in the ongoing limited-overs series between the two sides.

After having dismissed the 28-year-old Maxwell in the first three ODIs, the 27-year-old India spinner was at it again, as a catch by Jasprit Bumrah at short midwicket in the seventh over saw off the right-handed batsman.

Chahal then burst into laughter as he celebrated Maxwell's wicket.

Virat Kohli’s Team India on Saturday eased to a nine-wicket win over David Warner-led Australia in a rain-curatiled first T20.

After having restricted Australia to 118-8 from 18.4 overs, India eased to their target of 48 from 6 overs (Duckworth Lewis Method) with three balls to spare.

The only wicket the hosts lost was that of Rohit Sharma, but captain Virat Kohli and comeback man Shikhar Dhawan ensured that the Men in Blue crossed the finish line.

Maxwell, though, was dropped for the last two ODIs against the hosts last month after poor performances in the first three ODIs. However, all was not well for Maxwell as his slump in form continued against India on Saturday.

Australia will look to make a comeback in the series when the two teams travel to Guwahati, where they will play the second T20 on Tuesday.
