Mumbai: Harbhajan Singh’s tweet for Sourav Ganguly has landed him in trouble. Indian off-spinner wished Ganguly on his birthday on Friday. Former India skipper and now president of Cricket Association of Bengal, Ganguly, turned 44 on Friday.

While Harbhajan enjoyed a rich haul of wickets, he will always be remembered for his coming of age 32-wicket bowling heroics against Australia in the three-match Test series in 2001. His showing in the series earned him a nickname 'The Turbanator'.

Harbhajan took to Twitter to wish Ganguly.

Harbhajan, who is active on social media, however had not wish India’s limited overs’ skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni while the other Indian cricketers wished 'Captain Cool' as he celebrated his 35th birthday on Thursday.

It is known that Dhoni and Harbhajan shared a solid bond. In fact, the off-spinner had recently praised India’s World Cup winning skipper for his captaincy.

However, Twitterati did not take too kindly to Bhajji’s failure to wish Dhoni and him calling Ganguly “India’s best captain”. Fans lost the plot and questioned Bhajji.
