Indian fan' evacuated from Bangladesh stadium

Mumbai: An Indian man, alleged to be a gambler, was evacuated from the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur, where the first ODI between Bangladesh and England was played on Friday.
According to the sources close to the Dhaka Metropolitan police, the ICC's Anti-corruption and Security Unit (ASCU) caught a man involved in malpractice and was handed over to the police.
The police and the ICC officials will investigate whether he also approached team members of either team or the match-officials before the start of the series.
The identity of the so-called bookie, who is in the police custody was exclusively revealed to this reporter as Subrahmanyam Chennamsetty, resident of Bengaluru.
The man will now also be interrogated by the special police anti-terrorism cell in Bangladesh.
England is in Bangladesh to play 3 ODIs' and two Test matches. The first ODI was won by the visitors.
