Trishank, who once again played a key role in trapping opponents in his spin web, picked four wickets.

Saadhwik Reddy and Mohammed Shamshuddin came up with superb centuries to hog the limelight in the Hyderabad Cricket Association’s One-Day League Championship matches played at various grounds. Batting first against Noble Cricket Club, HCA Academy rode on to Saadhwik’s brilliant 107 to put 356 on the board before being bowled out in the 40th over. Himanshu Choudhary did well to pick five wickets while conceding 32 runs for Noble.

Then, Mohammed Shamshuddin scored a fighting unbeaten 102 which went in vain as the remaining batsmen failed to stay at the crease in face of devastating spells from Narender Reddy and Shiva K. Reddy who picked 5 for 28 and 5 for 32 respectively. Meanwhile in another match Satya CC were bowled out for 159 in response to which Picket CC made the mockery of the target by chasing it down in 17.3 overs without losing any wicket.

Mahesh Cricket Club too put up a pathetic show in their match against Vijaypuri Willowmen. Bating first, they were bowled out for a paltry 59 thanks to incisive bowling by P. Srikanth, who took 4 for 15 and Shakir Ahmed, who snared 3 for 31. The Willowmen rattled off the required runs in just eight overs for quick win. B. S. Chandrasekhar led the comfortable chase with an unbeaten knock of 36.
