Sports fraternity comes out in support of BSF jawan

Mumbai: The BSF jawan who alleged that troops are served bad quality food has received support from several sportsperson.
Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag said better care should be taken of soldiers and farmers. He tweeted, “Whatever said and done, our Soldiers and Farmers need to be taken better care of. Proper food needs to reach them all. #Food4Soldiers.”
Constable T B Yadav (40) of Border Security Force's 29th battalion, who is serving along the Indo-Pak border has alleged in a video posted on social media platforms that the jawans are served bad quality food and sometimes even have to go empty stomach.
BSF has taken cognisance of the allegations and has ordered an inquiry into the matter.
