“The Indian Cricket Team will travel to Ireland to play two T20Is prior to their tour of England in July. The two T20Is will be held in Dublin on June 27 and June 29, 2018,” said a BCCI media release.
India last toured Ireland in 2007 for an ODI, which they won by nine runs through the Duckworth Lewis (D/L) method.
Meanwhile, the only time the 2007 World T20 champions met the Men in Green in a T20 was back in 2009, during that edition of the World T20. India triumphed in that match too, winning by eight wickets.
Virat Kohli’s men will play three T20s, three ODIs and five Tests against England, ahead of the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2019.
