Chris Gayle apologises to Bangalore fans
While the West Indian failed to hit the heights of yesteryear, Sunil Narine's swashbuckling form did garner words of praise from the burly opener.
Bengaluru: Following a disastrous campaign with the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the on-going Indian Premier League, batsman Chris Gayle revealed his appreciation towards the fans who continued to support their team despite the circumstances.
“My sincerest apologies to all the RCB fans. You all have been very supportive and in spite of our not so good performance this season, you all still showed up for our matches and supported us and that really means a lot,” said Gayle on the sidelines of a promotional event on Tuesday.
While the West Indian failed to hit the heights of yesteryear, Sunil Narine’s swashbuckling form did garner words of praise from the burly opener.
“Sunil is doing great. I love how he is bashing those sixes,” he remarked on the back of Narine’s 15-ball-50 against RCB.
