Hyderabad: Abdul Rafeay scored an unbeaten century as Mahbubnagar District beat Asian Grammar School in a Hyderabad Cricket Association’s Under 14 inter-schools and districts tournament match played in Hyderabad on Friday.
Abdul scored 100 in 144 balls with the help of eight boundaries as Mahbubnagar made 190 for 6 in their 50 overs. In reply, Asian Grammar folded for 143.
In Saturday’s semifinals, Gowtham Model School will take on St Andrews High School (Bowenpally) at the Gymkhana ground while Delhi Public School (Nacharam) and Mahbubngar District will battle it out at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Uppal.
