Chennai: Sam Billings half century helped Chennai Super Kings beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 5 wickets to win their second consecutive match of this year Indian Premier League. The men in yellow made a triumphed return to their home ground at the Chepauk stadium in style after two years.

After being put to bat first, KKR posted what looked like match winning total of 202-6 after Andre Russell’s knock of 88. Ambati Rayadu and Shane Watson gave Chennai flying start, but it was Billings (56 runs of 23 balls) who helped his side cross the finish line.
