Jamaica: While batsmen smashing bowlers to all corners of the park and celebrating their knock is nothing uncommon, the previous years has also witnessed bowlers come up some unique styles of celebrations.

West Indian seamer Kesrick Williams was one of those who carried on the trend on Sunday evening after sending Indian captain Virat Kohli back to the pavilion during the one-off T20 International in Jamaica.

After guiding India to a 3-1 ODI series win with a scintillating unbeaten century, Kohli looked in the groove for another big knock as he delivered the visitors to a flying start.

The Indian captain stood at 29 runs off 19 deliveries before Windies captain Carlos Braithwaite handed the ball to Williams for the final over of the powerplay.

Kohli looked in no-mercy mode, smacking him right away with a six and then fetching a boundary to add to Williams’ misery. However, it was Williams who had the last laugh as the fast bowler baffled Kohli with a slower bouncer that was miscued by the Indian captain and safely landed in the hands of Sunil Narine, stationed at mid-on.

Williams could not control his inner self and celebrated with a hilarious send-off to Kohli. It seemed that the bowler took out an imaginary notebook, flipped through the pages and ticked off a box and finally put it back into his pocket.

Here’s a look at the iconic celebration:

After Kohli’s dismissal, Dinesh Karthik scored a crucial knock to steer India to a total of 191. However, the hopes of victory were single-handedly tarnished by Evin Lewis with an astounding century.
