Post marriage proposal, Danielle Wyatt reveals Virat Kohli's 'big' present on Twitter
England women's all-rounder Danielle Wyatt is a big admirer of the Team India skipper.
Mumbai: With 30 ODI centuries, Virat Kohli is in seventh heaven. The India skipper has drawn huge admiration from all around the world and has emerged as one of the best batsmen across all three formats.
While many personalities from the cricket fraternity have hailed the dashing right-hander, England women’s cricketer Danielle Wyatt is one big fan of Kohli. The English all-rounder, on several occasions, lauded the 28-year-old on social media whenever he scored big.
Wyatt got a chance to interact with India’s run-machine when the Men in Blue toured England back in 2014. The duo had a brief interaction and the women’s cricketer was presented with a special gift by the current India captain.
On Monday, ahead of preparation for the Ashes series, Wyatt flaunted the bat gifted by Kohli on Twitter. Labelling it a beast, the all-rounder joked that the middle of the bat was bigger than her size.
Back training this week. Can't wait to use this beast 👌ðŸ½ðŸ'ªðŸ½ðŸ"¥ Thanks @imVkohli #ping #middlesbiggerthanme ðŸ pic.twitter.com/BknGjYx2Yj

Previously, Wyatt raised many eyebrows when she Tweeted “Kohli marry me” back when Kohli dazzled with the bat for India during the ICC World Twenty20 in 2014.

The English all-rounder recently was a part of England’s ICC Women’s World Cup winning squad, as they held their nerves to overcome Mithali Raj’s Indian side. Wyatt has emerged as an integral member of the England team in the shorter formats, but is yet to make an impact in Test cricket. She will be aiming to make a mark when they face Australia later this year during the Ashes series.
