Senior Women's One Day League: Hyderabad, Andhra seal victories

Hyderabad: Hyderabad women came up with top shows in both bowling & batting departments to register a 25-run victory over Madhya Pradesh in their Elite Group ‘A’ third match of the Senior Women’s One Day League at the AOC grounds.

Batting first Hyderabad set a target of 192 for the central state as Sneha More and S.K. Sravanthi scored 38 and 39 respectively.

In reply, fine bowling by Hyderabad led by V.M. Kavya (3/35) and Gouher Sultana (2/27) wrapped by Madhya Pradesh’s innings for 166. Hyderabad clinched four points while M.P. returned blank.

In another match, a four wicket-haul from V. Pushpa Latha (4/20) and a half-century from N. Anusha (52) helped Andhra carve out a five-wicket victory over Himachal Pradesh at RRC. Andhra won four points while Himachal got none.
