Indian cricket fraternity congratulates blind cricket team for T20 WC triumph

Bengaluru: India defeated arch-rivals Pakistan by nine wickets in the final of the T20 Blind World Cup 2017 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday, to lift their second successive blind T20 World Cup title.

India also won the previous and inaugural edition in 2012. The home team displayed a commanding performance throughout the tournament, losing just one tie against the same opponent, Pakistan.

India chased down the 198-run target in 18 overs, with opener Prakasha Jayaramaiah scoring an unbeaten 99.
