The Virat Kohli-led Indian side completely annihilated New Zealand to win the Test series 3-0.
Mumbai: The Virat Kohli-led Indian side completely annihilated New Zealand to win the Test series 3-0. The hosts also registered their second-biggest test win by runs at Indore when they beat the Kiwis by 321 runs.
On a personal note, it was a highly satisfying Test series for Kohli. The Indian captain struck a double century in the last match and also became the first Indian skipper to hit two double centuries in Test cricket.
The focus has now shifted to the One Day Internationals (ODIs) series, but captain charismatic was able to squeeze out some time to relax and get ready for the next challenge.
Kohli enjoyed his one-day off by spending some quality time at home, playing with his dog and eating home-cooked food.
Kohli wrote on Twitter, “Happiness is spending the extra day at home & eating home food. On my way home for a night. Thank you for the wishes & love everyone.”
