Mohali: India batsman Rohit Sharma scored his third ODI double hundred on Wednesday in the second ODI against Sri Lanka, and Twitteratti were soon abuzz, with many international cricketers congratulating the 30-year-old batsman.

This was Rohit Sharma’s second match as captain of the Indian team, with Virat Kohli taking a break from cricket ahead of the South Africa series. In fact, Rohit has now scored two double tons against Sri Lanka, with the only other one being an innings of 209 against Australia in 2013.
