HCA one-day league matches: Sunil, Kamal, Raman, Vikranth hit tons

Sunil Kumar, B. Kamal Yadav and Raman Munadada sent the bowlers all over the park to hammer big centuries in the Hyderabad Cricket Association’s one-day league matches played in city. In a Pool ‘B’ match against Southern Stars, Sunil Kumar tonked a brilliant 208 which was well-supported by Gangadhar (76) and Naveen Kumar (44) as Manikumar set a 460-run target for the opposition.

In reply Southern Stars couldn’t do much and were sent packing for a mere 143. Vijay picked 3 for 13. In another match Raman Mundada scored an unbeaten 144 and Akbar made a composed 94 while Sunny Tiwari picked an economical five-wicket haul to script a 330-run victory for Lal Bahadur PG. Meanwhile in other matches, Ramakanth B. (100), Amear (102), B. Kamal Yadav (155) and Vikranth Choudhary (115) carved out centuries to anchor their respective sides’ victories in the league matches.

In the bowling department, Ravi of Kakatiya CC took five wickets for 57 runs, K. V.  Karthikeya had six victims against his name while giving away 46 runs, Imperial CC’s Vijender dismissed five batsmen at the cost of 21 runs while Shrunjith claimed 5 for 84 to shine with the red cherry in the different HCA one-day league matches.
