In a Twitter post, Bhogle slams the unhealthy hype building, likely sparked by targeted advertisements like ‘Mauka Mauka’ and ‘Abhinandan look-alike’.
Look at the tweet here-
I am disappointed by the pettiness and jingoism that #INDvsPAK at cricket is being reduced to. Hopefully it will be over after tomorrow's game.

Ahead of the clash between the two teams, where the fans share a rivalry that goes much beyond the boundaries of a cricket pitch, the countries await the match amidst a time of political and military controversies.
The sport itself, which ideally should have bridged the boundaries between the two countries as a common sport, instead has further intensified the situation, with fans going at each other looking for fire and blood.
The match begins at IST at 3 pm tomorrow and it is on a Sunday, is expected to be viewed by around a billion people from the cricket-obsessed countries.
