Sarah Taylor posts bold message, says taking such step makes her proud; deets inside

Mumbai: Wicket-Keeper batswoman, Sarah Jane Taylor is famous for her aggressive strokes. Sarah is an opener in the ODIs and a middle-order batswoman in the Tests. Recently, the 30-year-old England cricketer withdrew herself from the T20I series versus Australia.

Despite being a part of the national team for a long time, the 20 May born England female player has been experiencing some personal problems and due to those problems the wicket-keeper batswoman was out of the England squad in the recent past.

Recently, the female cricketer has been facing severe anxiety disorders which obstructed her from playing cricket in the recent past. And, due to her sever anxiety issues Sarah Jane Taylor decided to not play the T20I series versus Australia. After missing the T20I series Sarah stated that she didn’t take the break due to her anxiety problem and she has come a long way in terms of that subject.

As per an England and Wales cricket board (ECB) press release, Taylor said, “I first took a break from the game in 2016. But I don’t want people to feel this is exactly the same. I’ve made progress in that time and there are plenty of challenges I’ve met on the way and hurdles I’ve overcome. That said, mental health is not something you ‘beat’. It’s a continual management process and at the moment I don’t feel in a good enough place to compete in international sport.”

However, the good news is that the England player has returned to the field and is currently playing for English women's Twenty20 side Surrey Stars and she looks in good form. Although, this time the England player is in the news for some other reason.

This time, the 30-year-old is news because of her of bold and nude photo which she posted on her Instagram account. Sarah posted a nude photo of hers, and the photo describes the pain she went through to resurrect her cricket career alive.  

In her latest post, Taylor stated, “Anyone that knows me will know that this is a little out of my comfort zone, but I’m so proud of myself and grateful to @womenshealthuk for inviting me to be a part of this issue. – I’ve always had issues with my body and I had to get over a few in order to do this and it was completely empowering. Every other girl looks stunning ! -Please remember EVERY woman is BEAUTIFUL. – Thank you to everyone involved.”

Sarah Taylor thanked the Women’s Health UK for calling her to be a part of the reason which states about women’s body issues. However, she was uncomfortable while shooting the photo, but after pulling off the photo shoot, Sarah feels proud of her after performing such a bold action which has conveys message for other women.
