India, chasing a target of 72 runs in the second Test against West Indies, comfortably won the game with all 10 wickets in hand.
Hyderabad: A dominant India completed a 2-0 clean sweep against West Indies in the Test series that concluded here on Sunday, with a comfortable 10-wicket win in the second match.
While Prithvi Shaw ended up as the man of the series for his century in the first match and scores of 70 and 33 in the second, Umesh Yadav played a key role by picking up 1'0 wickets over the two innings.
Apart from individual performances, the team’s contribution was equally important.
Virat Kohli’s men became only the second team after Australia to win 10 consecutive Test series at home turf.
Australia have done the same twice- in 1994/95-2000/01 and 2004-2008/09.
India’s last Test series loss came to England in 2012, whereas their unbeaten streak in Test series began with a 4-0 hammering against Australia in 2013.

The records do not end there. This was India’s third consecutive Test win at home inside three days.
While India’s dominance against Afghanistan ended in just two days after winning by an innings and 262 runs, the hosts breezed past Windies within the first three days in both the Tests.
This was, however, not their longest streak at home within three days, as they have managed to win four Tests at home within the same time between 2013 and 2015.
