HYDERABAD: Cricket fans who had booked tickets online for the ensuing India vs New Zealand match got a physical copy of their tickets on Monday. The physical copy of the tickets can be obtained from Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium till
January 18, the day of the match. More ticket counters have been set up this
time to avoid a stampede-like situation which happened three months ago over
ticket sales.

was a smooth process. We are all set to see India win.”  Sharat Sharma, a
software professional, “it was convenient to book the tickets online, we got
the physical copy of tickets in few minutes.”

According to Y. Suraj, a sub-inspector of police, said, “around 40 cops
under the supervision of ACP, three inspectors and four sub-inspectors, are
monitoring the counters.”

Fans from other parts of the country too are in the city for the match.
Rahul Mupkalwar from Maharashtra said, “We are sure this India will secure
this series.” Umesh Mishra, from Orissa, said, “I hope Virat makes a century
in Hyderabad. It’s my first experience to see a match in the stadium. I am
excited.”
