Hyderabad Cricket Association lands in fresh legal row
Chairman of ad hoc committee says he was denied entry into the stadium by security guards.
Hyderabad: A case for wrongful restraint was registered by Uppal Police against the president of Hyderabad Cricket Association and its members, after a complaint by the HCA ad hoc committee chairman Mr Prakash Chand Jain. Meanwhile HCA president Arshad Ayoob said that the persons who tried to enter the stadium were suspended members. They are not allowed to enter the premises without permission.
Mr Prakash Chand Jain, chairman of the ADHOC Committee of the Hyderabad Cricket Association, in his complaint, said that on Friday when he tried to enter the stadium to collect some documents from the room allotted to him, the security guards stopped him at the entrance and did not allow him to enter the stadium. When asked, they said that they had instructions from president Arshad Ayoob and other officer bearers. Mr John Manoj, Purushottam Agarwal, Narender Goud, Devraj and Adnan Mahmood.
He also alleged that this was not the first time that he was denied entry into the stadium. He lodged a complaint with Uppal Police, who registered a case for wrongful restraint and started inquiry. Mr Arshad Ayoob denied the allegations stating that the guards at the entrance did their duty as per the rules. “They are already suspended from the body. So they cannot enter. They abused the guards and misbehaved with them for not allowing entry.”
