Stressed and not eating well, my only crime is marrying Hasin Jahan: Mohammed Shami
Shami, once again, has quashed all allegations from wife saying he is being defamed despite no evidence.
Mumbai: Mohammed Shami has been making the headlines for the wrong reasons since the past few weeks. Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan previously accused the Team India pacer of infidelity, domestic violence and fixing-matches.
The serious allegations saw the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) uphold Shami’s new central contract. But Shami, once again, has quashed all allegations from wife saying he is being defamed despite no evidence.

“I can die for the country but never betray,” the 28-year-old told Zee News.
The Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators (CoA) has approached BCCI’s Anti Corruption Unit (ACU) to conduct investigations into the matter. But the Bengal speedster said he was shaken by the whole incident ever since it was made public.

"Past few days have been quite stressful. I have not eaten properly and the cricket practice has also come to a standstill. I am tired of repeating myself again and again. I want all the allegations against me to be investigated thoroughly, " he added.
Despite the accusations against him, Shami previously claimed he would stand by his wife and daughter Aairah. The UP-born bowler further said his only crime was being married to Jahan.

Kolkata police has charged Shami under various non-bailable and bailable sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including Section 498A - cruelty to a woman by her husband or his relatives, Section 307 - attempt to murder, Section 323 - punishment for voluntarily causing hurt, Section 376 - rape, Section 506 - criminal intimidation, Section 328 and Section 34 based on the complaints filed by his wife.
