Pakistan cricket fans react to Team India's retirement gift for Shahid Afridi

Team India had sent a Virat Kohli jersey, signed by a number of Indian cricket team members, as a retirement gift for Shahid Afridi.

Karachi: Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi enjoys a lot of popularity all over the world – even in rival nation India.

Afridi, who had announced his retirement from international cricket earlier this year, was received a special gift from Team India after his retirement from cricket.

Apart from Team India skipper Virat Kohli, the jersey was signed by a number of Indian cricketers – Yuvraj Singh, Ashish Nehra, Jasprit Bumrah, Suresh Raina, Pawan Negi, Mohammed Shami, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan, R Ashwin, and Hardik Pandya.

The picture, which was posted on Twitter by a Pakistani journalist, went viral, earlier this week.

A number of Pakistani cricket fans took to Twitter to express their adulation for the Indian cricketers for this lovely gesture.
