Pictures of Uri attack 'fill me with emotions', says Virat Kohli
Four heavily armed terrorists sneaked into an infantry store complex building, in Uri and set it afire.
Mumbai: India Test cricket captain Virat Kohli condemned the terrorist attacks on the Army in Jammu and Kashmir, in which 17 soldiers were killed while 20 others were injured.
The attacks, which took place on Sunday morning, shook the nation, after four heavily armed terrorists sneaked into an infantry store complex building, in Uri and set it afire. The town of Uri, which lies on the banks of the river Jhelum, is close to the Line of Control (LoC), which is where the terrorists crossed over to the Indian side, according to reports. Uri hosts 12 such infantry divisions.
India Test captain and cricketing icon Virat Kohli said that the pictures of the attacks filled him with “emotions” that he “can’t explain”.
He also went on to hail the martyred soldiers calling them “bravehearts”.
