Vishal, Nimesh are best
Rishith, Mohish, Rusheel and Mayank too come good in school cricket.
Vishal Sahoo of Oakridge International School performed exceptionally well smashing an unbeaten on 157 against St Peter international School in the Brother John of God Under-14 tournament conducted by the Hyderabad Cricket Association. Oakridge scored 349 runs of which Rishith Reddy contributed 111 while Dhanush picked 3 wickets for 75 for St Peter. Chasing, St Peter were all out for mere 113 as Preetham Reddy took 3 wickets for 51.
In another match, Mohish Singh of Hyderabad Public School snared five wickets while conceding 14 runs but could not save his side from losing to Bhavan’s Sri Ramakrishna Vidyalaya. HPS scored 134 in which Prithvi Reddy contributed 53 runs but Bhavan’s replied strongly through Aquib and Krishna Patel who scored 52 and 48 runs respectively.
Sreenidhi International School also won their match. They made 259 runs in which Pranav Varma, Pavan and Rohit Reddy scored 67, 88 and 32 respectively. Sherwood Public School could not face Nimesh who picked 6/16 and were bundled out for a paltry 45 runs.
In another match, St Andrews High School scored 341 runs for the fall of 8 wickets with the help of M. Rusheel’s 101 while S. Akshay snared 4 wickets for Dilsukhnagar High School. St Andrews team ousted the Dilsukhnagar side for mere 50 in 21 overs. Mayank took 5 wickets and Rohan snared 3 wickets as St Andrews boys coasted to a comfortable victory.
