When Sakshi Dhoni contacted Suresh Raina to tell MS Dhoni about daughter Ziva's birth
Ziva was born on February 6, 2015 when MS Dhoni and co were in Australia, gearing up for ICC World Cup 2015.
Mumbai: MS Dhoni had won millions of hearts after he decided to stay with the Indian team in Australia during ICC World Cup 2015 as Sakshi Dhoni had given birth to their daughter Ziva on 6th February 2015, two days ahead of India’s first warm-up against Australia.
Dhoni, who was leading the Indian side, was then asked whether he missed being in India for child birth. The Indian skipper had answered in negative, saying, “Not really.”

"I have been blessed with a baby daughter. Mum and daughter both are good," Dhoni had told reporters before adding, "But as of now I am on national duties so I think everything else can wait. The World Cup is a very important campaign."
In a newly-released book by Rajdeep Sardesai - journalist and son of former India cricketer Dilip Sardesai - it is now revealed that Sakshi had to contact Suresh Raina to share the good news with MS Dhoni.

India, who were defending the World Cup title it had won in 2011, reached till the semifiinals before the eventual champions and co-hosts Australia beat them.
