Here's detailed plan of Virat Kohli-Anushka Sharma New Delhi reception today

New Delhi: The much-awaited reception of the newly-married couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma is set to take place here on Thursday.

While the wedding, which was attended only by family and a select few in Tuscany, Italy on December 11, was grand, the reception in the national capital is also set to be a lavish affair.

While Indian cricket team and Bollywood stars are set to be a part of the Mumbai reception, which is to take place on December 26, the Delhi reception may also see some of the bigwigs.

One of the fan pages of Virat Kohli, on Thursday, shared a picture of a well-planned reception day.

“A warm welcome to Anushka and Virat's wedding reception to be held at The Taj Palace, Delhi on 21 December 2017. We are delighted to have you with us and hope you have a wonderful time, taking back pleasant memories," read the invitation letter.

The Shaadi Squad, which efficiently planned out couple’s wedding in Italy without leaking any information, are handed over the responsibilities to take care of the reception festivities.

The hosts are not leaving any stone unturned to make the invitees comfortable. The reception will be held at the Durbar Hall, Taj Diplomatic Enclave, SP Marg entrance.

As per the invitation letter, the reception day is planned out like this:

Breakfast: 7:30 am to 10 am

Lunch: 12 pm to 2:30 pm

Dinner: 7 pm – 11: 30 pm

Venue:

The New Delhi wedding reception of Virat and Anushka will be held at the Durbar Hall, Taj Diplomatic Enclave, SP Marg entrance.

Timing:

The reception, which will be attended family and some of the Delhi bigwigs, is scheduled to start at 8.30 P.M.

While Virat and Anushka’s Mumbai reception is set to be attended by Indian cricket team members and bigwigs from Bollywood, the Delhi reception is set to be attended by many cricketers who had played cricket alongside Virat since his Under-17 days.

It is also reported that the likes of Kapil Dev, Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir, Ashish Nehra, Suresh Raina, Virender Sehwag, some members of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), BCCI’s acting president CK Khanna and Indian Premier League (IPL) chairman Rajeev Shukla will attend the Delhi reception.

Arun Jaitley, former DDCA president and now the Finance Minister and Minister of Corporate Affairs in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, may also attend the reception.

Menu for the reception:

While the hotel is known for its Indian, European and Chinese delicacies, it is reported that North Indian delicacies, in addition to Punjabi food, will also be served to the guests that will attend the reception.

Performance:

It is learnt that Gurdas Mann, famous singer, songwriter, choreographer and actor, will perform live during the reception.
